Join us for the Spring 2025 MCUCSA Meeting, where career services professionals will engage in discussions on workforce trends, historical influences, and the future of career development.

The Future of Work Panel will examine technological, generational, and identity-related workforce shifts, with panelists to be announced soon. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions. The World and Work Through Time, presented by Alexis Persons from Minnesota State University, Mankato, will explore career services’ evolution and future trends through a historical lens, with opportunities for discussion and group share-outs.

This meeting also offers networking and best practice sharing to support the advancement of career services. We look forward to your participation.

This webinar is brought to you by staff from the University of Minnesota Career Services Administration, International Student and Scholar Services, and the Carlson School of Management Business Career Center, with support from Minnesota College and University Career Services Association (MCUCSA) and Minnesota Association of Colleges and Employers (MNACE).

Goals of the Webinar:

  • Help educate U.S.-based employers and other stakeholders on the talented and diverse international student population studying in Minnesota

  • Provide clarification and dispel misperceptions or myths around recruiting and hiring international candidates

  • Increase U.S.-based employers’ consideration of hiring international candidates as a way to further strengthen and diversify their workforce.
